Passo Giau

Passo Giau reaches an elevation of 2,236 metres in South Tyrol.

Cortina d'Ampezzo is the recommended approach. VThe ascent builds up visually extremely strongly - the Dolomites open up more with every bend until you are completely surrounded by the panorama at the top. The lines are clearer and the flow is more constant than on the other side, which is narrower and more turbulent.
